I got a 2wss-as alarm which worked fine about 6 months. Now the remote stopped responding to the brain. I took out the battery and tried to reprogram it but it won't program. When I insert the battery into the remote the signal symble on the remote flashes constantly, what does that mean?

 

where did you get it installed at?..you should take it back to them and have them check for the problem..

the only compustar dealers that i know of around the 916 area is in W.Sac, citrus heights, and rancho cordova..was it any of those?

 

The installation was done me and a buddy.

 

maybe the antena is not working like its supposed to?..

or, maybe the brain is fried?..can anyone help this guy out?

 

Im pretty sure the problem is the pager. It might have been dropped 1 too many times.

 

i had my remote replaced after it acted retarded. down the road, the brain became retarded as well. i really liked the alarm because i got it when it first came out straight from compustar in ak. sorry i can't help you much, but try contacting Firstech and see if you can get it serviced under warranty.
