Default shift linkage

ok i have always known they were a pain in the **** but the pin that holds the shifter in...(not the stabelizer rod) on my GSR motor I CANT get it out.... i have been wailing on that thing with a punch and hammer (5lb) and its not going anywhere, i put PB, wd40 on it but to no avail...any suggestions? b/c i need to get this bendayhoe out...and i allredy searched and nothing. any help would be the greatly appreciated.

really just have to keep at it. i tried knocking mine of with a punch and i think i bent the sides a little to fold over the hole the pin is in. try a small punch and work around the edges and see if that moves it. its not called "the bitch pin" for no reason.

either your punch is hitting the outside of the hole, or you need to man up.

U don't need a punch.....just get one of the long bolts that hold the ac compressor on.....and whack at it....just gotta get some ***** and beat the crap outta it......after u get it to move a lil it will come out easy
