Default speaker distortion

I hear a sound /rattle that sounds like speaker distortion. not all the time just some music/songs. its coming from the rear deck. I dont turn it all the way up or anything like that. its starting to get annoying does anyone else hear this?

Quality of CD, burn quality, file quality, stereo reception, etc etc can all cause distortion. Like you said, "just some songs."

you need to specify more on your setup weather its factory sound or preimum factory sound or aftermarket and if aftermarket whats your setup... as mentioned before quality of burned cd and what not matters, do you hear this disturtion on radio only or with original cds? or burned like i said again details is needed

theres an 8" sub back there that cant handle toooooo much base. low hits it doesnt even produce base, but the higher lows will hit too hard and make the speaker thump too much.

My sub is set to 2 or 3 and i rarely hear it, but if i turn up the sub level it starts to distort the sub. If you dont have an SI or EX and you dont have a sub, its because there cheeper speakers and that happens

I have sirius sat and thats mostly what I listen too but like I said its dont do it all the time just sometimes with some songs. thanks guys
