Default question about b16a obdo

i have a 88 hatch with a first gen b16a swap im running a pr3 ecu, password jdm intake,dc 4-2-1 header, ctr crank pulley, invidia exhaust, test pipe, proffesional products 68mm throttle body. now the car runs fine under normal driving but when u throw third gear it takes alot longer than expected to climb speed wise and it seems as if the car has more power in the low end than up top any ideas?

you may wanna try and get the car on a dyno and make a 3rd and 4th gear pull to see wha your AFR's look like... i know its not a reall 100% load like on the street but it should give you an idea as to whats going on...

X2 agreed.

Tuning is key. Looks like you have enough power adders to where the stock ecu can't cut it anymore.

68mm throttle body is far too big for an OBD-O B16 with (presumably) stock cams. I think you need a cam and valvetrain upgrade.

The knock sensor will servely retard timing. Thus, the reason you got walked. Go get it tuned.

knock sensor will retard timing like 9 degrees or more. making the motor fall on its face in vtec. That would do it. Ive got a few extras . someone closer that does honda swaps should have some. they are really expensive at the dealer.
