MY ENGINE IS HOT
on my engine is gettin hot and i didnt know why so i turn on my car and i realize my fans aren't running both are down on my 88 honda civic lx i cant figure out why all the hoses and wires are connected

yea the power is fine no cuts cracks in the wire nothing the temp. is fine to, but there is this one hose on the left fan when you look down on it it looks like its cut but it looks like a tube not a wire cover i just over minded it

Did you actually test the wires to make sure the fan is getting power, or did you just check to see if theyre connected?
You could also give the fan direct power from somewhere, and see if it turns. Then youd know if you have a bad relay or possibly a short somewhere.

No, it doesn't sound like he's checked for power or tested the relays.
OP: If you don't have a repair manual, get one. There are procedures to test the fan switch, relays and motors that are quite simple. Again, you can check your motors very easily by connecting them directly to the battery.
