I've been at this for about 3 days, it wont slide in between the crank shaft pulley and the body of the car no matter what i do, i know i can cut it but i need to learn how to take it off so when i put on a new one, it wont be diufficult. is there a tool to take it off, is it posible to use a wedge to open up the gap?
I know i made another post on this but i really cant do it, keep in mind im a newb thanks

Yeah saw your other posts and i think you got a bent frame or something. Belt should come off by just twisting it to make it vertical instead of horizontal and then sliding it off from the pulley area. Simple, I actually took mine off today and many times before that. I have 1 - 1.5 inches of room between crank pulley and frame. Either bent frame or your crank pulley is sticking out furhter than it should, not allowing enough rom for the belt to come off. I always pull the belt off from underneath.

I can fit like around 20 sheets of paper between the pulley and the body, the frame isnt bent at all
And i have a JDM h22a in a 1995 honda prelude si
he said around 1-1.5 inches. 20 sheets of paper is not that thick. I used a large flat tipped screw driver but you need to be carfull of pully (and belt if reuse). Your taking belt off alternator side first right?

i took off the alternator and A/c Comp..... so all there is left is to pull off the alternator belt, and put a minus A/c Aternator belt on
somethings really fucked than. if your alternator and Ac compressor is off (so no tension on belt)? you should be able to pull belt off right? or am i missunderstanding you?
so your removing your ac and just putting belt between alternator and crank pully?

listen the belt is only on the crank pulley right now im just trying to take off the belt with out damageing it, and to do that you need to slip it between the crank pulley and the frame of the car, but i cant fit the belt through the small space no matter what i do
I want to know how can i get it off the pulley?

In that picture above, it looks like it's a very tight fit ... not supposed to be like that. To give you an idea of how it's supposed to be, here is my pulley and frame .. about 1 inch between the two. '93 h22a1 motor '93 body.

EDIT: Check your drivers side Motor Mount area. If engine is not supported in that area it will sit like that. Worth a look into.

Have you tried letting the driver's side of the engine sag by R&R'ing the driver's side mount? I do this when doing a timing belt job, and it allows the engine to sag enough to R&R the crank pulley, so with that much clearance you should easily be able to R&R the belts.

what do you mean by "R&R'ing the driver's side mount"

R&R = remove and reinstall.
Look at the mount. You can remove one bolt, and the other is a long stud with a nut on it. Loosen both alternating between the bolt and the nut. Then the bolt will just come out. You can then loosen the nut all the way. This will probably make the driver's side of the engine sag an inch or so. Less if you have engine mount inserts.

Remove and replace....
Check your motor mounts for sag or wear ....because it should not be that tight to the frame .

I usually just loosen it, but if you're concerned, use a jack, remove the bolt and nut, then let it down slowly. That might work better since your crank pulley is so close to the chassis. You can make sure the pulley doesn't hit the chassis as you lower it.

i think he might have been talking about jacking the motor off the one motor mount aswell, to hopefully twist the motor away from your frame and free up a half inch or so for him to be able to get that damn belt off
