The short answer is no. Get sleeves.

Not really. 2point6 proved that you can take a h23 (95mm) crank and have it offset ground to to a 97 or even a 98mm stroke.

Castillos does excellent work for this service.

you get more siplacement through adding stroke than increasing bore

If i am to get the sleeves and use them with the kit, i think the stroke increase should be a preety good upgrade. I wouldnt say its not common but i dont really hear of much people performing these types of upgrades to a prelude. The H22A1 puts down a lot of horses with a lot of torque. Increasing it from the 2.2L its at now to 2.49L would substantially increase horsepower i think...along with the torgue of course and compression. The head is also been planned to be rebuilt to help with the stroke increase. What do u guys think though ?

I am all for things like this......

I just think the Stroker Kits are a waste of money...
What the hell is someone going to do with a 2.5 liter engine in a Street Car?!?!

For a turbo car it's a complete waste of money and time. NA is a little bit different.... but it really depends on how much of a 'street car' it is as well as how radical of a 'stroker kit' it is.
