Default OEM VS Aftermarket plug wires

Im ordering a set of OBX spark plug wires is there much of a difference from the OEM wires? will it help me acceleration at all?

Stock ignition system(cap, rotor, wires, plugs, coil) is good for plenty of power. If anything IMO I would just get just get new OEM replacement parts. Especially over OBX

Aftermarket plug wires can help a little, but just because OBX claims it helps doesn't mean it will. Get some NGK, Nology, Taylor, or Accel wires

Wires will not help with acceleration, unless u are having problems with your current ones functioning properly.

An upgraded clutch only grips harder...how would that make you accelerate faster?

Same with plug wires, there is no power to be gained from just plug wires. Get some NGKs and you will have great quality and fitment.

When I check for NGK spark plugs/wires, i can't seem to find them for an h22a.

All listings show for h23's etc, are they compatible or do I need to further my search?

Thanks, I think the blues are the better quality, while the grey are the lesser quality NGKs...no color choice really.

you might need to change your valve cover gasket/seal. oil around spark plugs are bad.

I just read a few post and heard guys saying that the clutch doesnt add horsepower it just sends them to the wheels faster ill have to find the thread same with the wires i know they wouldnt add power but if it ignites the fuel better you have better throdle responce and gain acceleration but that has just what i have read i have not seen any graphs or such to prove these theorys thanks for the reply though

As far as the oil.....is there just a little bit on the wire boot,or is your actual plug wet with oil?The 1st is most likely the o rings in valve cover, the wet plug could be worse, like valve seat seal.Hope its not too bad.

Also magnecor makes good plug wires for h22's,and they arent much more than the ngk's,but only come in red, black, and blue.

Back in the day I spent the $70-80 for Magnecors and they did not fit well. The boots would not ever stay on the valve cover Just my experience...

Well I personally havent had that problem with them, they fit pretty well, and I picked mine up for around 50$ here at a local import shop.I have seen the red ones on ebay for about the same I belive, but any descent brand wire will do.

That doesn't make any sense at all.
