Default ZC swap into CRX Si trouble

I just bought myself an Si. I took it to a mechanic to have the ZC from my HF swapped into the Si and the Si into the HF. He has everything in but it won't turn over. It will crank but not turn over. He isn't very Honda savy but we did tell him about the 2 wires that differ from the ZC to the Si. I checked the ECU and it throws an error code 15. Please help.

your problem with why you have code 15 (igniter) and it won't start is that you have the HF engine harness on the ZC - you need the Si engine harness - the HF engine harness has the igniter wire in the connector at the firewall on the driver's side - the Si harness has the igniter wire in the connector on the passenger side - wiring harnesses are not interchangeable - the wires in the HF engine harness do not match the wires in the Si chassis harness

thats funny cause when i did my swap into my hf the harness needed no modification except for the distributor...... i think your confused with the dx harness....... si and hf are very similar......1990crx just check your distributor plug and look at the white wires on it and see if you got those two wires hooked up correctly

are you sure those two blue wires are still in the same harness? cause when my friend did the initial swap into the HF it wouldn't run without plucking those out and rerouting them.

you got to take them from the distributor wiring and run them to the cam sensor
