Whats up guys the other day i put a big crack
in my rear bumper and ive been looking for a new replacement
bumper and couldn't find any websites where you could just order one.
So is there a website, and how hard is it to install? (im guessing not too hard)
Thanks

That is really expensive. I'm guessing that's without paint. I've seen them on ebay for a reasonable price, but then you would need it painted. I would just get the one off of ebay...probably still be cheaper after paint.

^be wary of ebay bumpers, they are not "OEM" fitment, and often require you to "beg" it to fit. i learned my lesson when i bought a bumper for my hatch, it's OEM all the way for me - the satisfaction i get from knowing i dont have to beg it to fit is worth the extra $$ IMO.

you can also get an OEM bumper that's painted a different color but in good condition and just have it repainted. sometimes they go for cheap on ebay

One more question, im guessing it can be installed with simple tools with the same hardware and some jack stands right?

you probably only need a 10mm socket, a phillips or flathead screwdriver and some common sense. feel your way around the bumper and see what trim trim pieces/bolts need to be removed. it's pretty straight forward. open your trunk, there's 2 10mm bolts that hold it in on a coupe, not sure a sedan.

good luck, post more questions if you have them.

You guys are a lot of help ,i've got some common about cars sense iv'e been working on cars, trucks and race cars for 12 years even though i'm only 18 but I was 6 when i started.
But i just got my civ and am just getting to know it. I have wanted one since i was young so i finally got a snag deal on a 2dr 5spd 02 EX (or so i thought) for 9k with 110,000k but had to replace
the motor, the mounts, the clutch, the flywheel and a couple other little things
about 3 weeks after i bought it. (F used car dealers) That brings another
question up. I've felt lately that the car seems slow(down the road to my house i used to be able to hit 110-115 now its 99 flat) i am starting to feel that the tranny
might be going out, could the lack of speed and acceleration with all the replaced parts be a transmission problem ( I am 0 for 2 with used car buys and i have
only bought 2 cars in my life...........DAMN) anyway athanks for the help
with the bumper.
