Is $133 too much for an OEM bumper?
Even after my discount at the Honda dealership I work at, an OEM bumper would run me $133 I was told. This sounds really pricey to me, but was unsure what you all thought. Should I wait around until one pops up on Ebay or in the H-T Classifieds? It's not like I need it ASAP. Thanks.

I got my oem 97 del sol bumper at cost and it was still like 200$ something. 133 for brand new oem fit is good imo.

Thats about as cheap as they get from the dealer.
When I worked at Honda that was about the same price (discounted) that gave to body shops.

for a brand new bumper.. dont forget you'll have to paint it as well.. that will cost about another 100.. so at least 200 bucs for a new bumper..
it's easy to find a used bumper for 50 bucs or less sometimes, but what are the chances of it being in PERFECT condition, or the right color?
you know the new bumper will have no fitment issues.. it's really up to you and what sort of condition you want the bumper in, but 113 isnt too bad for a brand new OEM bumper..

What type of car?
Front or rear bumper?
I say get it. Aftermarket front bumpers usually fit shitty and cause fitment issues at the fenders and corner lenses.

Well yeah again I'd go for it. If it was a rear I'd say try Certi-Fit (I have one on my car - fits perfect) but for the front bumper I'd only go OE.
I've had to buy three brand new front bumpers for my own car, so I feel your pain bro.

Lol?
Actually the one you linked is NOT OE at all, it's OE "style" and probably fits like ****.
If you want to suggest aftermarket, then don't rip him off with a $70.00 bumper. I can get bumpers from Certi-Fit for under $45.00!!!

Don't rip him off? not like I am trying to sell him a bumper now....just showing him some options...If it was me personaly I would have gone to certi fit no questions asked. But maybe there is not one near him? hmmm maybe.

Unceasing Measure
My brother bought me a used bumper with EX lip already on it with all the proper hardware for $30 last year. If you're going to get it painted anyway, you might as well get a used one in decent shape.
