you want to put a after market sunroof in ? If thats the case Its one of those you get what you pay for and make sure the installer know what the heck he is doing.

If your talking about taking a ex roof and swapping out the roof? Thats alot of work if you could even pull it off ? there is additional bracing in that roof that would have to be added and get a skin on it with out it being wavy Im sure a large amount of money could make that happen but I would sell it and buy a EX IMO

You are much better off selling what you have and buying an EX

I had a buddy that drag raced a civic. His car had a sunroof in it. He swapped the roof out for one with no sunroof. From what I was told its not that hard . If you can use metal tools well then your good to go . He went to a junk yard and cut the roof off of a car. Right in the line where the 2 grooves run down the roof. Before the hit his off . He tach welded some bracers in 4 points. Cut it out and swapped the roofs. Welding the new roof on in place of the old one. Cut out the bracers and wha laa. He just bondo the grooves to look smooth. There might be a few more details but its possible.

As far as going to a sun roof. I am sure it would be the same process. I dont know what you would have to do inorder to get the electrical right .

what was the point of that post loco?

a fully raced out civic could demolish your car and I'm sure does fairly well at the track

I belive the fastest honda is a drag civic? It's fully done and doesn't have stock motor but nothing wrong with that

ok smart ***. I see you like to knick pick on stupid crap. If you READ what I wrote I was saying its possible to preform the swap . Some people like to do things themselves and not have to pay to get it done. He did it to lose the weight on his car. DUH !!!

How are we comparing cars here. Who cares is someone is faster. Uhhhh race car vs street car . hmmmmmm I would put my money on the street car.

Although he has 617whp h22+t70. 1/4 mile = low 10's

No worries mate. I am not hostile just wondering why the lil comments are neccesary .

I thought the civics made a great drag car.

I think accords make grocery getters.

If your in to getting the work done and doing it yourself . And your setup for the task . Then do it yourself. But I would consider 1500 or a big headache and late night.
