changing brake pads
okay ive searched and on mopnday ima gona help a friend change his pads ive never had to change the rear pads and i heard u needs special tool to compress the rear piston since it needs to be spun when pushed back in is this true b/c i dont want to have to get a special tool
the parking brake is incorporated into the rear caliper you will have to screw the piston in, not just compress it like the fronts.. if the rear caliper does not have pistons on both sides of the rotor, its the screw in type.. notice how aftermarket caliper with 4 pistons and what not? thats the difference..
you can get the screw in pistion caliper tool at AutoZone for a free loan. $35 deposit, fully refunded once you return of the tool.

How do you rotate it then?</TD></TR></TABLE>
You stick a flat metal bar in the slots and rotate it clockwise.
