oil pan gasket keeps pushing out when tightening down oil pan. anyone experience this. How can I solve this?

 

Dont tighten it so much. Trying torquing it ...some said around 8 lb.


From the guy you Fu*ked up in a post a while back...

 

You are obviously overtightening it. slowly work your way around the pan, and don't overtorque.

 

and don't forget to crisscross tighten them. Use a small torquewrench you will be surprised at how little torque they need. Overtighten and they will leak.

I don't know who you are but you are the first person on this site that I have met that has been insultive and negative for no reason.
