LS/vtec
JE 9:1 81.5mm slugs
Eagle Rods
ITR valvetrain
ITR Cams
ITR Oil + water pump

I want to run 100 shot of NX Direct Port nitrous w/ their progressive controller. What else will I need to do?

 

fuel pump and maybe a rail and some injectors. , obviously plugs and your good for a 100 shot easy.
maybe an igniton too , but not needed.

 

I was thinking a walbro intake unit and 310cc injectors. Do you think that i could possibly run 125shot? I want to start at 100 and if I think that the car is running good on that for acouple weeks then I want to move it to 125hp to lay the serious smack down. running some mid 12's for sure.

 

well with that compresion plenty with a direct port kitt, you could run a 150 shot, but you would have to ramp the shot up , if you started out with a 150 shot you probally could not hook up to save your life, just make sure you have a good fuel pump the right timming and colder plugs,also if you have it apart stainless steel valves would be a good investment, Jason

I say no more than a 100shot.. and in a direct port setup..

 

fuel and timing is deff gonan be key.
get it on the dyno and tune it for sure.
i say 100 shot will be cake. 125 i would prob go tops.
but the use of that prog controller will deff be needed. . . oh yea a clutch if you dont already have one.

 

I have a clutchmasters stage 3. Would an AEM FPR cure my fuel problems? I am also planning on getting either the Jacobs Nitrous Mastermind and ignition or the NX progressive controller.

 

Do you have new sleeves with the je pistons? I thought you needed new sleeves with forged pistons, unless its just the h22a.

 

make sure you tune it properly, post up your times when its all said and done

 

Can the stock sleeves hold that?

I would be more worried about the valves than the sleeves...

 

definatley direct port....too much = disaster
