Nitrous on b18a1
right now im running 10.0cr(forged pistons) and crower 403's i was lookin to run a 75 shot dp....ill need fuel pump and injectors right?? And i was wondering if anyone else was spraying on 403's how is it?
I've a friend with B18A1 large port ('92 DA) with eagles/wisecos, 9:1 CR. He sprays a 100 shot on it with the 402T's, pulls our friend Walter's 65 Mustang w/ Roots blower slightly from a roll... the Mustang's dyno'd at 380-ish whp @ 6 psi. For a 3000 lb (guesstimation) Muffstank, that's a pretty good showing.
I don't know the particulars of Adam's nitrous setup, but he's a friendly guy, would probably chat you up on the phone about it. IM if interested, if you don't get better info here.

I'm not spraying on 403's but stock valve train built block b18a1 in a half gutted ek hatch. 9.5-1 comp. I'm spraying 100 shot single efi nozzle. stock injectors, stock fuel pump and i'm still running a little rich on them. Pulled my buddies euro r prelude by a landslide. I would like to build my head with 403s in it but I heard to get the full effect of the cams you need higher comp then what I am running.
I have an B18B1 powered EF hatch scheduled on the dyno for tuning on the evening of 10/22. It has PR3 pistons, 62403 cams and a dry direct port NOS system. Obviously, it has the necessary supporting mods to make it work properly... an Intake manifold with big fuel injectors and I/H/E. I will post results after we finish.
