I had the HA's on my 99 Si and liked them alot. I just bought the SS's for my 92 hatchback and like them too. The shock is the same 16 way adjustable steel body, the springs on the SS are one piece (HA's have a two piece spring (1) helper spring very soft, and a regular spring). I forget the spring rates, but when you crank up the shocks, they get super stiff

Only complaint is the steel body which rusts if you drive in snow, etc. I put anti-sieze on the threads and don't have a problem.....besides, I corner balance, set and forget
