Default Zdyne and Hondata

I know this has probably been posted trillions of times. A friend recommended me to the site to get some info on both ecu's.

I have a 2000 si that is currently being made with a custom turbo kit. I already have the vortech 12:1 fmu but I really wanted to get a real engine management. Which is better, how much am I looking at, any TRACK numbers.

I wanna run 8lbs on the stock motor. Then once the pistons, rods, and block guard, and fluidlyne radiator is installed looking at 12LBS.

Car already has nos fuel pump, act 6 puck, ctr cams, b&m pressure regulator, msd sci, msd cap, msd blaster 2 coil.

You probably don't want to use zdyne =P

Hondata would work fine with a P28 ecu.

What options should i get besides the obvious map sensor? How many bar? hate to rant, but if you could give me some info that way i can go to the site and see how much everything is gonna run me.

Is this a piggy back device, or is it a direct ecu replacement. I am pretty sure its a piggy back but just wanna make sure.

It turns an OEM OBD1 honda ecu into a full standalone.

The stock MAP sensor can read up to 11psi of boost.

Check out http://www.hondata.com.

You'll need an OBD1 P28 ecu, obd1->obd2 harness, and the hondata system.

The EMS is crazy confusing and has a million features. I refuse to recommend it for anyone but the very motivated (me hehe).

Hondata should definately be the management of choice for 75%+ of the folks in here.

A buddy of mine was recommending that aem standalone system but like i told him, i don't have the time nor money to be spending and wasting getting it tuned and dynoed.

Doesn't Zdyne now offer options for the obd2 Si ecu though??

No ricky. I wouldn't get the zdyne. Stick with the hondata. Look like a lot of people on here are pleased with it

Na june lol, I want a haltech!!! You know I envy you haha. Na seriously its too much money for what its worth. Before I spend 1100+ on a piggy back, I might as well get a complete standalone like haltech or AEM. It just makes more sense.

PS- Did you ever get your piping done at that place? I know some place that sells manderal bend stainless steal for the piping if your interested.
