Default Turbo off of Procivic.com?

I am looking into getting this turbo,

http://www.procivic.com/pages-....html

One of the main reasons is that it says it requires no engine modification, and it comes pre-tuned to 6psi, which would save me a lot of time, hassle, and money. I was just wondering, is it true that it would require no engine modification? I figured it would as long as I kept it at the pre-tuned setting. And please don't go on about how I should get high performace engine parts and jack up the psi and all that because I will do that later when I have more time a cash. Thanks!

nothing comes "pre-tuned" the car wont last long on any sort of base mapping.
Search for the TSI turbo kit. From what people say, it fits like ***, and is a pain in the neck to install.

Took me a while, but I did find one thread with a guy complaining about his TSI kit, but he didn't specify what kind of car he drove. Well if this is true, does anyone know where a can find a good-fitting turbo that will allow me to not have to modify my engine (I'm poor), and I could buy using payments with a card like on procivic.com?

If you have to finance the kit, you start out totally f'ed. You need to have the money to fix it, because you will break something. Its not an issue of if, its just a matter of when. If you dont have the money for another motor, then dont even start adding lots of power. Its asking for disaster to do it half assed.

well put. before i buy my turbo kit i am buying another motor just to have a backup. i will only run 8 psi but i know something will eventually give. better to be safe than sorry and you probably dont wanna finance power adders. you blow the motor and youre still making payments??? just save the money and do it right from the start.
