Anyone ever have thier driver's side window go off track?
I cant roll my window up all of a sudden cuz its off the track. The window is on the outside of the rubber strips and it cant go any higher. Is it pretty easy to take the door interior off and fix it?
I believe there is a service bulletin on 99-00 Si(maybe other models as well) for this problem.

it's a b*tch!
take your time, don't want to break any clips!
some body shops will tell that it's the regulator, but it's not.it's the poor design of the track.

it sucks...happened to me many times...just take off the door panel and put the sucker back on the track...i put a zip tie on a hole on the arm connecting to the track so if it falls again it wont fall far...makes it alot easier....happens to alot of hondas
It is all fixed now, it was pretty easy to do. Im proud of myself cuz im pretty much a dumb *** when it comes to fixing things. (for now) Now im going to roll down my window and whistle at girls all night!

did you try applying some grease when you put them back on? happens to most manually-operated windows, most of them hondas.
I grease it up really good this time, and used silocone spray for the rubber runners. Hopefully it will stay fixed. thankssssss
i noticed that with my buddy's hatch and now i am noticing it in mine...usually when it is really hot out, it roles down fine....but if its chilly or like at night, its tough...i read somewhere about civics having that problem...but now that i know how to fix it...no worries here
i hope you got it workin good now
thanks guys

My brother in law just got a 97 hb and his passenger side window fell just as we got it home from the dealer. I had a 92 h/b and never had a problem, although the a/c worked great and I don't think I rolled them down that much. My wife's 94 sedan has power windows and they've never fallen, although the driver side one shifts alot and sometimes rolls up too far (misses the stripping) but only since I replaced it.
this happened to me once too. it came off and i put it back in but then it came off again. it turned out that the metal rail was bent thats why it kept on coming off.
