Default Sidemarkers

So me and two friends installed some JDM sidemarkers on my Acura Vigor (with JDM headlights)... Theres a small problem tho. The sidemarkers are always on once I turn the headlights on because we split the wiring from the corner lights. We could of split the connection from the bumper lights but the blinking of the corner lights and sidemarkers wouldnt be synchronized. I want the sidemarkers to blink with the corner lights but NOT always on as the corner lights are once the headlights are on.

So..... is there anything I can do right now to make the sidemarkers only blink when I signal rather than them being always on? Some sort of relay or something? Any help greatly appreciated.

Just take apart the wires you put together and electric tape the running light wires, then rewire it into the signal light wires. Duh?

I thought you were supposed to have the markers always on though.... it would look ridiculous if they were off at night, and just started blinking out of nowhere....

The sidemarkers are wired to my corner lights (the ones beside my headlights).

Sidermarkers are meant for signaling not to always be on. Look at European cars that have them (bmws, benz, audis...etc). They stay OFF until you begin to signal and start blinking.

pretty much that easy.

IMO they should stay off when not blinking.

Well, thats exactly what mine do. Sidemarkers on JDM cars are for signaling, they are not running lights.

Yeah stay off when not blinking is what I want. Only way I could of think of is to wire them to the bumper lights (they are in front of the front bumper near the bottom). But what I don't like with that is the bumper lights dont blink at the same time with the corner lights (they go back and forth).... so if I wired my sidemarkers to the bumper lights, it would look retarded because when I'd signal, the corner light and the sidemarker wouldnt be blinking at the same time which is how they are supposed to be! look at any actual JDM car or any bmws, audis, benz..etc.

My corners don't blink at all, but the bumpers, rears, and sides all blink at the same time.

lol if the wiring is easy to access then sure, but I have no idea where the wires for the tailights go.
