Default Radiator Problems

YO whats up Honda Tuners? I was wondering if you guyz can help me out. Im having some problems with my radiator overheating. I have a 1997 Honda CIvic Ex coupe. My Problem Started like 2 weeks ago.. overheating 3/4 of the way up when im stopped, but then goes down to normal when i take off. its never overheated when im actually driving. I have 140, 000 miles on the engine, and i took the necessary steps of checking the coolant and seeing it was filled to the tip of the radiator , then i went to have a thermostat put in, and hoses checked. but it kept overheating, so i went to have my radiator flushed and it seemed fine but then it crept up on me again. im not sure where to go after here. The fan is turning on when it starts heating, but then when the fan turns on it sometimes rises when its on.. So what else should i be looking at.. or what could it be? Water Pump? Crack in the Radiator, sensor? Please help me out.. Its my daily driving car and i dont want problem to persist.

Thanks

I don't think you have a clog in your hose. Are you using/leaking coolant? Have you pulled the radiator and backflushed it and checked it for clogged cooling fins? Is coolant being pushed into the overflow container?

I haven't.. but im going to check. The only thing i got was a radiator flush at one of the jiffylubes. Do they check that problem?? because all i saw the guy do was put a hose into the radiator and then he sucked out all the old coolant and replaced it with new. Other than that im not sure bout the fins. the container is always full.. just yesterday it lossed some from the container. So im not sure if its supposed too. The temp rises when it wants too, and thats what scares me. i just want to settle this. Are the radiators inexspensive??
