I guess someone tried to steal my tag, or just the frame on it while i was in the mall the other day. Well, they broke the heads off both bolts. I managed to vice grip these turds off, but i've been through 3 different sets of 10mm's and either the threads are wrong, or the bolts are too big? Anyone know exactly what size and thread i need? Thanks in advance.

ur lucky u could get them out,i snapped mine into the hatch, and have been tryin to drill them out for like 3 weeks, i just gave up and stuck the license plate in the window.

hate it when people try to jack your stuff and end up messing it up.. happened to my EG door lock.

 

thanks everybody.lluks, give it a few squirts of wd-40, if that doesn't work, just tighten down some vice grips and use some elbow grease.Be gentle though, not to snap the spot welds of the thread holder.

Yes, but the 6mm did NOT work. I'm guessing it's because the threads might have been a bit messed up, because of the theft attempt. I ended up finally just taking a handful out of the hardware store, trying some out, going back in and matching them up.
