Default 07 CRV Exhaust Pipe Vibration

I wanted to get your opinion on an issue I have been having with my 07 CRV. For about 2 weeks now I have been getting a vibration in the steering wheel, gas pedal, and in the car seat. Its not bad but its noticeable and didnt do this when I first purchased the CRV. When you first drive off in the morning its fine but after the car has warmed up is when you feel the vibration. I also noticed the exhaust/tail pipe was vibrating pretty good, and this was only after driving for several minutes. Any ideas on what might cause this? I dont know if the vibration originates from the engine or exhaust pipe.

Take it to your dealer to have it looked at.

I am actually taking it in tomrrow. I just wanted to see if you guys had seen this issue before. Knowing my dealer they will tell me its normal. Dont get me wrong they do good work, but there have been a few times with my Civic that they would just tell me something was normal if they didnt know the cause.

I am a technician at a Honda dealer. From what you describe here this is not normal vibration. I haven't seen any issuse like this with the new CRV.

Well I took it to the dealer today and just as I predicted they tried to tell me the tailpipe vibrating was nothing to worry about and was normal. They said the vibration I was feeling was due to the tires being out of balance. It does seem to be riding a little smotther now, but I still dont like the fact the tailpipe is vibrating,

Hmm...tomorrow when I am at work I will take a look at a new CRV and see how much vibration is normal.

Thanks for checking. They way they explained it to me was the muffler is held by a rubber bracket that is designed to give it some movement and since the CRV idles around 700 after driving that it will cause the tailpipe to vibrate a little. They also said running the A/C buts an additional load on the engine and would cause it to vibrate a little more. From my previous Honda's I know this is somewhat true, it just didnt seem like the CRV was doing this when I first got it. I guess on the bright side its under warranty so if something goes wrong they are paying for it.

I have a neighbor with an MDX that has this same issue, anyone have any insight into this issue? I think it may be exhaust. It only happens when slightly pressing the gas at about 35-40mph, otherwise it never happens.
