Default Did i buy the wrong engine mounts??? HELP!!!

Well i was on ebay and i found a very good deal on some innovative motor mounts that usually go for 250. It said they were for a d16....so i bought them...

Now i have a 96 civic with a d16y7 in it right now and im currently building up a d16y8 engine for a turbo setup. I'm going to swap the y8 into my 96 civic. now my question is did i buy the right engine mounts???? Cause after i looked closer at the auction it said that the mounts were for a 92-95 civic

here is the link for the mounts

http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAP...&rd=1

so can somebody tell me if these mounts will fit onto my 96 civic with a d16y8 swap?

Thanks alot
Patrick

just fill your oem mounts with 90a compound from mcmastercraft, hope you did'nt pay already, 2 of them will fit, but thats silly to pay 200 for used mounts

I didn't even pay 200 for them...plus they're brand new...and i wouldn't even be able to fill all of the mounts cause they're the original ones and one of them are fucked...

It clearly states "1992-1995" = not all will work

In 96, civic's got a stupid fluid filled driver side mount....this set utilizes the older civic and dc type.

92-95 mounts will not work in a 96-00 civic. All of the mounts are different.

You can buy the mount you fucked up at honda -- its pretty cheap compared to what you paid.
