i suck at math.
When your tank is COMPLETELY full, reset your trip odometer to 0. When you fill up again next time, take that number on your trip odometer and divide it by the number of gallons it took to fill up your tank COMPLETELY.
Example:
You drove 260 miles and you filled up 10.5 gallons.
260/10.5 = 24.76
so you got around 25mpg. Hope this helps
