I heard one time that you can't. I'm rebuilding my motor and I need to know if you can and if there is anything I need to know before hand. I have a 97 h22a4. Thanks for any help.

 

you definitely can, just buy a helms and read the section on it, call the shop with the specs of the honing process and ask if they can do it.

Yep, it definitely can be done. The only thing different is the honing procress for FRM is a bit different from honing iron sleeves.

 

Where can I get a helm's? Ive never heard of it.

 

Anyone else. Ive never had to take a motor to a shop before besides having wrist pins instlalled. Is everyone saying that I cant do this myself.
