Default JUST FINISHED MY SWAP NOW I HAVE TRANNY PROBLEMS NEED HELP!!!!! ASAP

Ok so i just finished putting a gsr swap and the tranny is acting weird.... Most of the times it doesn't go into any gears i will have to pump the clutch before it actually allows me to go into any gear and when i drive it and get it in the gear it just gets stuck in that gear even if i use the clutch and try to take it out it will stay in that gear and won't actually go into neutral is like if the clutch is not doing anything unless i start pumpin it

so what do you guys think this could be ?

yea should be but is not fine at all lolllll i was stuck at a stop sign for like 10minutes trying to get the car to let me go into 1st gear and yes i tried bleeding the clutch and the pedals pops out fine problem is that even if the clutch is all the way in it doesn't let you go into any gears unless you start pumpin

hmmm sounds strange man. I would get a friend and re-bleed the whole system. I think u gotta use a 8mm open end wrench and a skinny hose on the front of the tranny. Pump the clutch a few times and keep it pressed down. Then tell your buddy to loosen the bolt on the vlave and flud should come out. Tighten it down and you'll have to lift the clutch pedal back up then repeat a bunch of time. Don't re-use the fluid just incase you get dirt in it.

Drain the tranny fluid and check for shards of metal, something may have been damaged.

did you check the pressure plate/clutch before installing your swap? I had the same problem a few years back and it turned out to be the performance clutch installed incorrectly.

good luck.

well it is kind of. but sometimes people don't align them right and you run into problems. it probably just isn't centered, check it out and make sure the flywheel is torqued correctly.

Can't explain what it is until you find out what the problem is.

My best guess it that it's the gremlins from the Progressive commercials.

that's what im thinking, those damn gremlins.

just drop your tranny and take a look to see if anything is out of place. if the clutch is not straight, im thinking when you push your pedal in its not allowing it to engage all the way, thus not letting you shift easily. just a guess, trying to help you out.
