Default Copying my Key....

Few simple questions....

Is there a transponder or something in the factory key? Because I went and got a copy of my key, I shove it in, pushed the "Engine start" Button, and the engine only turns over but wont start up.

Is there something wrong with the copy? or is there something in the keyless entry remote from the factory?

you will need to get a key that has the engine code built into it. The engine has a immobilizer as do MOST cars 98 and up. Basically go to your dealership or look online. Im sure someone is offering the service. The Keys can run you around 100 bucks or more though.
