Default what's my best option?

I am trying to fix the problem of burning oil in my car (5 qts in 800 miles) in my 98sh. My engine is fully ripped apart right now and looking at the block, the walls are scored and Type S OS pistons aren't going to fit because they are too small. The walls I'm guessing were deprived of oil and just lost form after so long. So there is no way I can run OS pistons as far as I can see without getting sleeves and getting forged pistons. But here are my possible choices:

1. Get Darton Sleeves and pistons (not sure on the company yet but somewhere in the range of 10:1 - 11:1) . The labor for machining and parts will add up to close to $2k without tuning. But the problem is I need to get it tuned after this, but what engine management is an SH compatible with? And what's the highest compression I can run that is safe?

2. Finding a used/new SH block (very HARD), which will be the cheapest route, but where to find one is impossible. I have yet to find a person who has one, and I am not sure how much a new bare block would cost from the dealership.

Honestly my goals are to have a fun daily driver, I am not too concerned with the power in the car, but having a reliable car. Any advice/help on what can be done? I don't want to sell my car I love it soo much, I just want it back on the road.

get the sleeves. It sounds like it is your only option.

That route isn't too cheap. Anyone know much about this? They come in various sizes, but I am still not positive as to whether or not I can hone and bore it out to fit the 88mm.

The seller emailed me back telling me 88mm would ruin the life of my car, any opinions?
