94-97 accord ex vtec sohc will bolt right up . Just need the ecu and wiring harness, or wire the vtec up yourself. Pretty simple swap.

Is it worth it such as the horse power. And if so can I use a vtec controller

Youll feel a big difference in the two . But not a tremendous amount of power. Maybe 10-15hp at most . I believe. There is no point in wasting your money on a Vtec controller. As far as my opinion goes. THERE JUNK !!

no its not worth it, you will probably not notice any change in power and yes you could use a vtec controller if you wanted to

I beg to differ on not noticing any power change. Your saying that no boost vs. vtec boost you couldnt tell the difference.

If your using a vtec controller. Why would you want to turn the vtec lower to engage at a lower Rpm . When the vtec works on Oil pressure. And requires a certain Rpm range to fuction correctly. Turning it up higher is a waste if you ask me .

Honestly a SOHC VTEC head swap wouldn't be worth it. An H23 head swap would be more worth your while. If you are bent on having VTEC you could also do an h22 head swap.

I have swapped a H23 dohc non vtec head on a F22 block . The swap is fairly simple. But I have never went from nonvtec to vtec. Nor have I swapped an h22 head on a f22 block . 92-97 h23 head will work for you . Youll need the Head, intake manifold, throttle body, Thermostat housing, F22 head gasket, p13 ecu, Crank pulley. and a few others.

if you go from non vtec to vtec... then you need to tap the block and head and put an external vtec pressure switch and run the oil lines. then rig up a vtec solenoid, run the wires to the right pinouts on the harness, and get a vtec ecu. it is def a pain in the rear

woah, what?

external pressure switch? thats located on the solenoid which bolts to the cylinder head
oil lines? on sohc block/head oil feed for the head is already in the block
rig up a vtec solenoid? by "rig" do you mean bolt on with three bolts?
