Have you checked to make sure the stock computer is installed? Perhaps is was swapped to an OBD1 unit.

If it is the correct OBD2 computer, it could simply be failing.

Have you tried to pull the codes through the CEL by jumping the diagnostic connector?

ok so i pulled the codes through the cel and icame up with code 54... which is crankshaft fluctuation sensor... or somin like that.i havent looked into it to much but ive heard that it will make your car miss sometimes, but no one has said anything about it making it run rich. so i need to know if this will cause bad air/fuel ratio or if anyone has experienced prob. with this sensor or if you think my ecu is dicked ? thanks

If it is missing, it is not burning the fuel and may appear to be running rich.

check your distributor, pull the cap and see if it looks worn. also its going to run like a dog because its in limp mode....you need to address the cel concern asap.

how many miles do u have on ur ls?

great you have under 150k, you now need to take it to an acura dealer...you have an emissions warranty extension--look at this THREAD https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1936942
