ok here it goes i bought a 96 integra with jdm ls swap and the engine light was on i also noticed there was an obd 2 to obd 1 conversion, i was thinkin maybe that could be it i only have about 70k on this thing everythings fine with the car no smoking everything idles fine does anyone know whats up or how i can get rid of it.... i would appreciate if someone could help me out thanks...

 

was the obd2 to one conversion just for the ECU?? or was the engine obd 1. Becuase if its still obd2 ecu you can get the code ran at auto zone for free to fid out what it is. If its an obd 1 computer you will need to find the little two prong connector that will be up by the glove box on the passsenger side and just jump the connector. So take either a paper clip or a wire and connect one side to the other. Yuor chech engine light will start flashing. Do a search on H-T for how to read the code and all the honda codes. it has been posted on here several times.

I believe there is, however I also believe anyone who buys a LS swap from Hmotors assumes it is JDM while it is probably USDM.
