it blinks because you are nearing a preset 7,500 mile factory set interval for maintenance (oil change, etc..)

when it hits the 7,500 mile mark, it will just light up steady instead of blinking...

reach under your dash past the ignition area a feel for a button...

press and it will go away...

My wifes MR light is on in her 2002 Civic Sedan, same general area? don't feel like going over to that forum and searching/asking.

There should be button between the legs of your wife, just push and hold it down for a few secs, and if her light doesn't go off then you should deff. take her to a mechanic to get her fluids checked.

Just busting your ***** man!

I believe you need to hold the button (with the ignition off), then key it off and on 2 times, then turn the car on (while still holding the button).

Or at least thats what my helms memory serves me, I've been running an OBD1 ECU for ages, so I haven't needed to reset it in quite some time.
