anyone notice their insurance going up due to the type r being claimed as the most stolen vehicle in honda industry?

im with state farm and my insurance went up about $84 per half year..

like wtf!!!

 

nothing new...my insurance has gone up 3 times since i bought my car about 1 year ago. And NO i dont have any tickets/accidents

 

mine's is almost 1/2 of what I started out at 2yrs ago

looks like they're pretty cheap...

i checked w/ my current ins. co. and they wouldn't be able to lower my rate after getting my mech. pe. maybe "a cubed" will be more accomodating...

 

Allstate has served me well. I was paying $308 every 6 months for the R, which only went up to $312 for this renewal period (starting on June 10th..but I didnt renew since I sold the R). My new car (which costs quite a bit more than the ITR and is a 2 seater) costs me $314 ever 6 months. BTW, this is all for full coverage (100/300/100) with a $500 deductible.

 

this is why I pay a yearly policy... They can only raise my rates once a year... Im at 2 Gs full coverage with 24090 AGV and a 5 Mil umbrella incase I go over my underlying limits... Basically I can cause a 20 car pile up and only have to pay 1000 bucks...
