VSS Code 17 Vehicle Speed Sensor Cable speedo No VTEC SEARCHED
Ok, here is my set up.
1990 CRX Si
JDM B16a
Converted to OBD1 w/ rywire harness
Still has the speedo cable and in secure
So I dont have vtec. I researched a while back and someone mentioned that there is a wire from the back of the gauge cluster that goes to the ecu that tells the ecu when it is above 20mph, which will allow vtec to work. So I think that wire may be cut. What wire is it on the harness that plugs into the ecu? If its brown, then that wire is cut. Its the only wire cut on the whole harness and I cant find the wire that it will connect to. And also what color is the wire that plugs into the speedometer? I cant find it on the wire diagram. So some help would be great. Thanks a lot!!!!!!

Ug, ive been so damn busy lately. Thanks for the info. I will need to check it out. Does anyone know what wire goes from or where the wire is on the speedometer that goes to the ecu?
