I don't recall whether it's welded or bolted on, but either way I would not suggest removing it on a street car.

werd! i believe its welded in there. to make it easier, you can get a set of jdm doors, they dont come with them.

Uh, all street cars came with it. It's a safety issue. Quit adding JDM to everything to try and make it make sense or bet true.

Don't remove it, it's not much in weight savings. You're better off going on a diet or learning how to drive.

rather than remove 2lbs from each door and probably double your risk in an accident, try putting enough power under the hood to where your traction problems never allow you to think about weight issues ever again

Oh and shoosh EK, dont you fukking dare try to make this into another H2B thread! LOL

LOL I know, but when I mention "enough power under the hood" what snaps into your mind?

only because its true. i was lookin to get a set of doors to replace because my passenger side was wrecked and i found a set from a actually EG6 only because it was cheap but it has no rebars. i said screw it, look around some more and found a set of the usdm ones.

i never said jdm is better, i just simply stated that the actual jdm eg doors dont actually have the rebars.
