changing fuel filter... need help
Hey everyone i need some tips on changing my fuel filter on my 5th gen... theres' a whole bunch of stuff in the way and i have no idea how im gonna get the fuel line off the bottom of it... how did you guys do it ?
If you use flared crow's feet, you can do it fairly easily. I've done it a couple of times. Just do like the Helms shows, and you can get it done without too much trouble. The hardest bolt for me to get to was the bolt for the clamp that holds the fuel filter in place.
DO NOT use standard crows feet. They WILL round off the soft brass fitting on the fuel line, then you'll be hating life. Use only flare crow's feet.

When changing that filter you have yo get from the bottom right? I have same problem until now I could not get it off. Is it easier to get from the bottom ( i mean under car) or working on it from the top?

o yea man it's pain in the ***. i don't know why they change it cuz I remember on my h23 it was on the passenger side on the top which make it easier to replace.
