fuel filter help

Default fuel filter help

i have a 94 gsr and i cant get the fuel filter off. on the top of the filter i can take out the small bolt that goes down through the other bolt and fuel line, but after i get that off i cant get the next bigger bolt on the top off, is that suppose to come off or just pull out.

tried doing mine the other day, i was struggling to and ran out of time, bump for some help

The small bolt is only for attachment of a fuel pressure regulator. You need to remove the larger banjo bolt. Use a 6-point socket. Use a line wrench for the connection on the bottom of the filter so that you do not strip it..

Dogginator is correct, just loosen the top banjo bolt along with the nut for the line from the bottom, then remove the filter assembly by unbolting the mounting bracket from the firewall.
