Default HELP!!! MY WINDOW IS STUCK DOWN!!!

I just bought a 92 LS and everything worked fine when i test drove it and after i bought it (yesterday) and cruised until i drove to work and tried to put my driver side window back up. it rolled halfway up and stopped. i worked all night and when i cranked it up in the morning i just pressed the switch up and kinda helped the window up a lil bit and that worked. I ran some errands with the windows down today and now i cant even pull the window up. Im new to all of this so i have no idea where to start troubleshooting. Any advice will help.

it probably fell out of track, take off the door panel and make sure the glass is in the track. Also try lubing the weather stripping if it's getting the glass caught on it. good luck.

actually i just did the pull-up trick again and i noticed theres some sticky **** down on the bottom part of the glass on the inside so i guess im gonna try and clean that up and roll it down again and see what happens when i roll it back up.

my window was getting stuck for a while, i would have to smack the door a few times to get it working againe. i thought it was the switch board on the door. it finally got stuck two days ago. when i checked the motor, it keeped running by itself. and stop im gonna try n get a motor and try see if that work. and the motor would get soo freaking hot. looked like the motor was pretty messed up on the inside too. but good luck.

yeah i say take off the panels and test the motors sounds like bad motors to me. junk yard or even ebay sells them for a decent price

This happened to me last year. The problem with mine was that the motor was old and overheating so you may just need to replace your motor.

Mine driver's side is doing the same thing..probably from being used so much more than passenger. I'm looking into replacing the motor since it seems to be overheating/not working in the next few weekends when I have some spare time/money.
