Default just test drove a DA b16trans???

it's a 1990 DA with a b16a motor aem fuel rail aem shortram full header back lowers 2in with big *** 17in rims

my first gear does 40hp is that a ls trans or a b16

honestly most of our 1st gears are simular what rpm are you in 5th gear? if it's a high rpm of about 5k when your going like 70mph then yeah definately it's a b16 trans

i think the 17 inch wheels will have a serious effect on gearing.

well can you tell me a way to find out the real trans???
i got the car for 2g and it clean gsr seats b16a motor aem fuel rail aem short ram dc header

runs good just wondering what trannie it is

Normally, there will be a tag on the tranny that should be starring you right in the face when you look at the tranny where the bellhousing meets the block. If you could put a pair of OEM'ish 14" wheels on the front with 60R14 (prefered) or 65R14 (unprefered) tires, we should be able to tell you what it is that you have. Just borrow some from someone, and get on the interstate and go exactly 55 mph. Then go exactly 70 mph.

Like I said, we can pretty much tell you what it is that you have, but we need similar tire diameters to do so.
