the light blinks 6 times fast and 2 times slow. So is it 26?

It would blink the slow ones first, go check again, you may be throwing a 17, because its easy to mistake the last slow flash as one of the single's flashes, rather than 10. THis would be VSS ( vehicle speed sensor)

For your sake I would hope its a VSS. Its highly unlikely the ELD and crank sensor have gone bad at the same time.

Look at the top of the transmission under the air intake arm. There is a sensor in the top of the transmission. It has a 3 plug connector, and there should be a 10mm bolt holding it in. You take that out and find a new one at a junk yard. But do more testing before you go throwing money at the problem.
