You don't have the 12v constant wired up.
I know on radios it's a green wire. Not sure about the clock.
I'm assuming it has 3-4 wires.
1) Power,
2) return maybe,
3) ground
4) constant.
But it could certainly have two. I've never installed an Ej clock.
Bottom line, you don't have constant power to the clock.

^^^what he said.
if you'd like, i'll go out and get the wire colors for you and tell you which one is the constant you are missing.
OR just take out a multimeter and start taking readings to see if you are getting a constant and through the process of elimination find which one it is since it sounds like the exact one you are missing.
