fuses OK, but no power?
what would cause all 4 of my power windows in my 96 sedan to not at all work, not even by their individual switches, if all the fuses (under dash and under hood) are fine?
they worked up until i changed out the radio fuse and forgot to disconnect the battery before i did so...
my haynes manual tells me to check the circuit breaker as well as the fuse, but where do i find this??
any ideas or suggestions at all would be great, my windows are stuck half way down...i dont like leaving it parked anywhere as it is and it rains a lot here..

There are two grounds that seem to be associated with the power window circuit. They are G401 and G551 which are both located in drivers side kick panel area.
Fuse 24 (under-dash) feeds battery voltage to the coil of the power window relay with the key 'on'. This allows Fuse/Relay 46 (under-hood) to feed battery voltage to the switches in order to actually drive the motors.
The circuit breaker is built into the motor and blows open from heat. So if someone were holding the switch closed (to open or close) and kept holding it closed after it's stopped, the motor starts to build up heat and blows the breaker. BUT the breaker is suppose to close back up after it's cooled off....it's self-resettable.
Why did you have to change out the radio fuse initially?

i had to change the radio fuse because i drove somewhere with my radio working, parked, and restarted my car 5 minutes later and the radio didn't turn on like it should have...this has never happened, and hasn't happened since...
Yeah, this is a stupid question, but - is your main switch for the power windows turned on?
I've seen people freak out and start testing everything and checking fuses when they had simply bumped the main switch off.

figured out the problem, i was given a fuse diagram by someone on here earlier and the p/w / moonroof fuse spot only showed "moonroof", so i thought i could take out that fuse since i have no moonroof, not knowing it was also for the power windows
not only that, but it told me to use a 10A when it's actually supposed to be a 7.5A
anyway, problem solved, thanks for all the help
