Default Question about 96-00 Civic EXHAUST! Please HELP!

QUICK QUESTION

Will an exhaust that is meant to fit on a 96-00 Civic DX "Coupe" fit on a 2000 Civic Si ? Or will it need modification?

I was wondering because I see so many exhausts that say for 96-00 Civic, then this one specific brand in particular says 96-00 Civic DX... Kinda wierd... Thank You in advance for any comments, suggestions, and answers.

The difference is in the B pipe. DX b pipes are longer because the cat is built into the manifold instead of under the car. So, no, it won't fit without modification.

What do you think I might have to do to get it to fit properly? Will the axle back fit?

Axle back should be the same. If the exhaust is made for DX, you would have to cut out a section of pipe and reweld the flange back on. It wouldn't be hard for a muffler shop to do.
