EK fogs on a EG
So i just got done installing Ek fogs on my wifes, 00 civic Ferio. And then i
read a post on here about installing them on a EG....I love the EK fogs on a EG
There will probably be alot of modifications needed, but my question is. Will
the Wiring harness work on my EG? or do i need the EG harness to work. I had
eg fogs but they were stolen and im left with the plug things in the fuse box.
thanks

lights are all wired up the same..
there is a + and a ground.
run power through it and it lights up.
just mounting it on ur eg bumper will be fun.
can't help you with that tho.

you said that the wiring is still intact right?
just wire the fogs to the wiring that is still at the bumper..
unless when u said that they were stolen.. that they ripped out the wiring and the fogs.

I installed some Raybrig EK fogs (from passwordjdm) in my cousin's 00 sedan, the harness is different from the genuine Honda EG fogs, the Depo fogs, and the Esuse fogs. There were 2 big male/female plugs by the steering column that's bridged together by the EK harness. I don't remember seeing that in the EG.
Another option is to get a EG fog harness. Or you can just use any universal fog/auxiliary light harness. Price ranges anywhere from $10-25, depending on where you buy it. You can either splice the universal harness into the the EK fog wiring (you'd have to cut off the plugs), or use female spade connectors to connect to the plugs on the EK fogs.
I mounted a rocker switch onto the block off plate by the defrost switch. Other places you can mount the switch are on the block off plates by the parking brake.

As far has cutting into the bumper, I can't help you there.
