Listen to this guy. An Ebay nightmare won't be solved quickly if the swap you get is FUBAR.

Me too I guess. I guess just make sure it's from a store with a LOT of eBay Rep on the line. They'll make sure that you get all you ordered and that you're satisfied. But yeah, just look into hmotors, I've heard nothing but good things.

Except he will still need a transmission, mount kit, and axles... resistor box (for injectors), shifter cables and shifter assembly.

Last time I checked we were talking about h2b.

So he'd need the kit and a b tranny/axles and he's good to go.

H2B is actually incredibly cheap for a 12-13 sec car. If I planned on keeping my hatch for a long time, I would definately do it.

H22 Longblock - $1200
B18C5 Tranny w/ LSD - $1300
B-Series Axles - $50-200 (used/new)
H2B Kit - $1000
H-Series Mounts - $300

Total - $4k

For the price of a GSR swap, you get a motor with insane amounts of torque (for a honda), lots of HP, and great gearing w/ a limited slip. And you could probably find a lot of that stuff for less used, and go for a b18c1/b16 tranny instead of a type-r, and get the price down around 3-3.5k

^^ that's very true. I've seen entire H swaps go for $500 on craigslist.

If the kit and the motor are bought second hand then you can save a big chunk of $$$

you guys are making fun of ebay like it's a small marketplace that is known for bad stuff.

buying something off ebay is less descriptive than saying "buying it at the store"

Maybe YOU were talking about the H2B kit, but no one else was. Even if everyone else was; where's the price list for stuff like the B-series transmission, adapter plate kit, axles, b-series shift linkage, resistor box, and mount (I was under the impression you still need some kind of special mount?). He asked for a list of parts he will need for the swap, not for someone to try to shove their opinion at him (but I guess this is h-t).
