Check Engine Light
I just finished swapping my LS/Vtec into my 95 EX coupe. I have a few check engine lights.
6: ECT - water temperature sensor
10: IAT - intake air temperature sensor
21: VTEC spool solenoid valve
22: VTEC pressure valve
These sensors were not connected when I first started the engine. Why? Because...
ECT- The b18a1 block doesn't come with one on the thermostat housing and I didn't notice it, I later took the thermostat housing off of my B16b which was running with no MIL's in my EK and switched them.
IAT- I had to extend the wires and didn't do that at the time but I did now.
Vtec switch- I forgot to plug back in. Also I'm using an OBD2 VTEC solenoid which doesn't come with the green connector on the front.
I might have switch the fan switch and IAT connectors around but have tried both ways already. Each time I pulled the ECU fuse for 30 seconds and the MIL still comes showing those same codes.
I'm lost and dont know what else to do mainly on the IAT and ECT sensors.
I'm also using a P28 ECU chipped with crome

well maybe you have the wires backwards on IAT. The ECT and VTEC plugs are the same. make sure they're not switched.
I definatley dont have the VTEC wire switch with anything else since it's on the other side of the motor. And I mentioned above that I switched the IAT and the Fan switch connectors back and fourth and still nothing. Also I labelled the ECT sensor when I was pulling the old motor so I'm 100% that it's in the right spot when the old motor was in there were no CEL's either
