I've noticed my car has been buring oil lately and I made a topic earlier and some think my valve seals are gone. But as I was driving today, I noticed my car blows SERIOUS white smoke when I down shift, then give it throttle to get up to speed. I don't see smoke when I start the car at idle only when driving and down shifitng. So what can be the problem? I did a compression test and got 210 across the board.

 

Anybody?

 

usually white smoke is when you are burning water,maybe your HG is bad.Did you check your coolant level?

 

That would be the first thing that i would check, and see if your oil is kinda milky from water mixin with it. Just a suggestion

 

Heedless: Yes I've checked my coolant and it's full.
