Search for burning oil and grab yourself a sandwich and read up.
A lot of peoples cars burn oil. Just check your oil levels whenever you put gas in and you should be alright.Good luck.

uhhh you said white smoke, which is coolant not oil, but it probably your valve guides are shot, and need to be replaced, but i would also check your headgasket as well as look in the coolant overflow tank to see if there is any oil in there

i know this may sound stupid, but were u drving in the rain when this happened? Because my EM2 does it in the rain. What happens is the exhaust gets hot when u rev like over 5g and the water spraying on it evaporates. Like under about 5g the pipes dont get that hot because of the minimal exaust flowing through. Thats what mine was, because i noticed it wouldnt do it when it was sunny out and dry roads.
Oh boy that sounded stupid, but sometiems problems are of the stupidest nature. Good luck figuring out what it is!

Re: (REEMB18C1)
well first of all vtec motors burn oil while in vtec,as for it being white smoke you said you checked the overflow tank and there was no oil so its not the headgasket, i dunno man

Re: (MDJ IKNJ)
it is most likely ur rings, im getting my motor rebuilt because its doing the exact same thing. i bet ur rings are fried. mine only blows out a little bit and the guy gives me 3 months till my motor goes kahpoof. ur smoke is probaly a white-bluish smoke, cause white is definantly coolant and blue is oil. i wouldnt run ur car that hard or pop vtec that much, thats what i have to do and it is really hard

yeah, it's really not. but if it's piston rings that are gone. thats another story + another 400 bux.
